A fellowship of individuals who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other so they may overcome their sexual addiction and help others recover from sexual addiction or dependency. Can I really be a sex addict? Although we are not affiliated with AA or with any other organization or agency, we are, indeed, grateful for permission to modify and apply the Steps and Traditions to sex addiction, making recovery possible for us.

Am I a Sex Addict? Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous is a Twelve Step, Twelve Tradition oriented fellowship based on the model pioneered by Alcoholics Anonymous. Through long and painful experience, we came to realize that we were powerless over our sexual thoughts and behaviors and that our preoccupation with sex was causing progressively severe adverse consequences for us, our families, and our friends.

S L A A

Many of us came to this realization when we started attending SAA meetings. We recover from sex and/or love addiction or avoidance/anorexia by sharing experience, strength, and hope using online chat. Together we found hope and the care of a loving Higher Power.

SLAA is a peer-support program for individuals struggling with sex addiction, love addiction, fantasy addiction, romantic obsession, or patterns of co-dependent relationships. #SLAA Online Group is part of a Step, Tradition recovery fellowship.
